When you need to replace several missing teeth, partial and complete dentures are an effective method.

For your convenience, we've compiled some information to help you better understand the different types of dentures and their advantages:

Complete Dentures

Otherwise known as “immediate” or “conventional” dentures, complete dentures are the optimal solution for those who have lost all of their teeth or require removal of additional teeth. These dentures will improve the patient's ability to chew and speak, while also providing support for facial muscles. The options for complete dentures include a full denture for the lower or upper jaw, or both.

Partial Dentures

Removable or partial dentures are the optimal solution for those who still have a number of natural teeth remaining. These dentures will also enhance the smile and facial appearance by providing facial muscle support. Partial dentures attach to the natural teeth with metal clasps. These clasps are also attached to gum-coloured bases made of plastic.
